Seville – Day 10

Day 10 already! It seems like it’s been only a few days. Today the temp was at least 40 degrees Celsius.

First we went to a tower called torre del oro. We had to climb to the top, and in the museum at the middle they had replicas of Christopher Columbus’ ships. At the top was a platform you could walk around and see Seville.

After we saw the tower we went onto a palace. It had a lot of rooms that all looked similar. It also had a lot of gardens, but going through the gardens wasn’t fun because it was too hot.

We went into the church across the road afterwards. It had lots of cool things to look at, and we got to look at the treasure and pieces of saints. We went up to the bell tower by climbing ramps. There were ramps because a horse used to come up to the tower when it was a mosque. It had Christopher Columbus’ coffin held up by four knights. It is the third biggest church in the world, and a lot of the things in it were being restored, but we still got to see many beautiful displays.
