We went back to Puerto de Santa Maria by boat surprisingly.
We toured the Osborne bodega and learned how they made sherry. We saw their cellar, and saw some sherry in a barrel. Then the adults had some sherry, while we had chips and juice.
Then we went to a castle. We learned about how it used to be a mosque when the Arabs lived in Spain. At the end of the tour they had a sherry tasting too. Christopher Columbus used to live in that castle before he went on his journey. They also had the remains of a gate and wall that used to be part of the Roman Empire.
We looked at stores, and then took the boat back. The boys went to the beach; we went shopping because I couldn’t go in the water with my rash. Alia and I both got bathing suits, and dinner. Dad got some more medicine for my rash, because the chamomile lotion isn’t helping as much as it should.
