First we took the bus to the old village and walked around. Then we went to one of the towers where you can see the whole city with a camera. They had one just like the one we tried to see in Seville. The stairs were scary because they were plates of glass placed in metal frames. We were able to see the whole city and we learned some neat things about it.
After lunch we went to the beach, and Alia was a mermaid in the water. We played tag, and mom and dad came in for once! The boys built sand castles on the beach when they weren’t in the water: which was most of the time, because they got cold.
We came back to eat dinner, and then went back to the old town. We walked along a market and then to a beach. When we got there we climbed on the rocks and watched the sun set into the ocean. It wasn’t fully dark until 10:30. We took the bus home shortly after, and everyone is going to bed because it is late.
The final soccer game is tomorrow: Spain vs. Holland. I will write more about what the game was like after we see it tomorrow.
